Angels Sanguine Army

Some have asked for a picture of my entire army together. Well, that sounded like a great a idea. So, here it is. This list is a Jawaballs list. However, the local tourney scene runs 1850 points. So, I have been toying around with how best to use the extra 100 points.

I have included two photos of the army that is contained in the following list:
HQ
-Dante
-Corbulo

Elites
-Death Company, Rhino with Extra Armor
-Furioso Dreadnought, Death Company, Heavy Flamer, Extra Armor

Troops
-Assault Squad, Powerfist, Rhino with Extra Armor, Pintle Storm Bolter
-Assault Squad, Powersword, Rhino with Extra Armor
-Assault Squad, Poweraxe, Rhino with Extra Armor
-Tactical Squad, 10 men, Lascannon, Meltagun, Rhino with Extra Armor

Fast Attack
-Attack Bike, Multi-Melta
-Attack Bike, Multi-Melta

Heavy Support
-3x Baal Predator, Pintle Storm Bolter, Sponson Heavy Bolters, Extra Armor

The attack bikes are not in the picture because I am still in the tryout phase with them. I have not decided whether I want to include them.

An Alternative Army List

If I continue to be disappointed by my Attack Bikes, I will try out the following list:

-Dante
-Corbulo

-Death Company, Rhino w/ Ex. Armor
-Furioso Dreadnought, Death Company, Heavy Flamer, Ex.Armor
-Furioso Dreadnought, Death Company, Heavy Flamer, Ex.Armor

-Assault Squad, Powerfist, Rhino w/ Ex.Armor, Pintle Storm Bolter
-Assault Squad, Powerweapon, Rhino w/ Ex. Armor, Pintle Storm Bolter
-Assault Squad, Powerweapon, Rhino w/ Ex. Armor, Pintle Storm Bolter
-Tactical Squad, Meltagun, Razorback: Twin Linked Lascannon, Ex. Armor

-Baal Predator, Heavy Bolter Sponsons, Pintle Storm Bolter, Ex. Armor
-Baal Predator, Heavy Bolter Sponsons, Pintle Storm Bolter, Ex. Armor
-Baal Predator, Heavy Bolter Sponsons, Pintle Storm Bolter, Ex. Armor

The list is a slight alternative to what I have been running. I like the idea of getting in a second Furioso Dreadnought. Also, I find that with my die rolling, the previous style of Lascannon out the top hatch from the Tactical Squad may be better replaced with the Twin Linked Lascannon on the Razorback. However, the Razorback is more fragile than the Tactical squad.

One shot can eliminate the Twin Linked Lascannon on the Razorback. Whereas, the old list would require someone to pop the Rhino and deal 10 wounds to the Tactical squad in order to eliminate the Lascannon.

I cannot decide which list I like better on paper. I really would have to play test the lists to get a feel for the difference.

What do you all think?

Attack Bikes or a Land Raider?

Now that the dust has settled from 'Ard Boyz. I have to get ready for the standard tournament size list in the local gaming environment. The standard points value for the two closest stores is 1850. I have an idea to begin with the following list:

HQ
-Dante
-Corbulo

Elites
-Death Company, Rhino with Extra Armor
-Furioso Dreadnought, Death Company, Heavy Flamer, Extra Armor

Troops
-Assault Squad, Powerfist, Rhino with Extra Armor
-Assault Squad, Powersword, Rhino with Extra Armor
-Assault Squad, Poweraxe, Rhino with Extra Armor
-Tactical Squad, 10 men, Lascannon, Meltagun, Rhino with Extra Armor, Pintle Storm Bolter

Fast Attack
-Attack Bike, Multi-Melta
-Attack Bike, Multi-Melta

Heavy Support
-3x Baal Predator, Pintle Storm Bolter, Sponson Heavy Bolters, Extra Armor

My intention is to begin here and play at least 5 games without making any changes to the list. After getting in the 5 games. I will make one minor change to address any issues that I find and play from there.

I have a Land Raider all ready to go, but I am not sure that I can afford the points for it at this level. I have another list with the Land Raider included. However, once I put the Land Raider in, I really feel like I should put some Assault Terminators in the Land Raider. I suppose the Land Raider could deliver the Death Company into the heart of the enemy.

Decisions . . . Decisions . . .
