Model One Finished (Urban Base Test Case Pt.4)

I give you the finished project. This is the first finished Veteran Assault Marine for my Angels Sanguine Army.

I am really pleased with the result.

Of course, this marks the end and finish of the first Urban Base Test Case model: CD Plastic.

The next model naturally will be the exact same Vanguard Veteran Model from the second Veteran Assault Squad which bears the Cereal Card Urban Base. After I finish that model, then we will have the two together for the judging.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks for reading!

I like your painting style - very gritty and battle worn.

The black base edging works very well too.

The CD case base idea is something I've got the opportunity to try after one of the little 'uns in our house broke one beyond repair.

I'll link back to your article when I give it a try on my Necromunda gang.

Thanks a lot guys!

@Thousand Hats> Do it, man. I think it would look great on a Necromunda gang. Oh, thanks for your words concerning my painting style. What you noted is exactly the effect that I am trying to achieve.

As a matter of fact, I encourage anyone and everyone to try whatever you find on my blog that interests you. Feel free to do it. The spread of ideas is the main reason I have started the blog.
